Michael Hamm, Operator and analyst at CIRCL, will join the CyberDay.lu event and will talk about Rogue Access Point, Keylogger and Forensics.
Have you ever wondered what artifacts were left behind, if an attacker connect an USB keylogger at your Windows-PC keyboard, during lunch break?
He will divide his answer into 2 main parts:
- Part 1. He will connect a hardware key logger to a windows computer and steal some passwords. Then he will show what forensic artifacts may could be found on the compromised computer. The attack will be a live demo.
- Part 2. He will show, what an attacker can do with a rouge access point. He can intercept passwords, redirect the user to infected websites. Than he will show what forensic artifacts may could be found on the attacked computer.
