On the occasion of Information Security Education Day 2021, Alexandre Dulaunoy, Security Researcher at CIRCL, presented the Covid-19 MISP instance retrofitted for Covid-19 information sharing that focuses on two areas of sharing:

  • medical information,
  • cyber threats related to Covid-19.

This instance assists users in creating, collaborating and sharing threat information such as flexible sharing groups, automatic correlation, free-text import helper, event distribution and proposals. A massive community of 1560 users has already been using it.

CIRCL operates several MISP instances (for different types of constituents) in order to improve automated detection and responsiveness to targeted and cybersecurity attacks in Luxembourg and outside. MISP is a platform for sharing threat indicators, threat intelligence within private and public sectors.
