Luxembourg is actively participating in this campaign to sensitise citizens across Europe and particularly in Luxembourg about the risks linked to cyber fraud.

“The digitalisation of financial services and their use is growing. This is being followed by the intensification of more and more sophisticated attacks by hackers and criminals. To deal with the ingeniousness and the increasing complexity of the applied attack mechanisms, it is essential that cybersecurity professionals collaborate and share experiences and knowledge. The ABBL is pleased to collaborate with the Ministry of Economy, Security Made In Luxembourg and BEE Secure in order to promote the CyberSecurity week and to participate to the Cyber Scam Campaign.”
Serge de Cillia, CEO, The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association
“Cyberscams are one of these threats that impact directly the essence of the trust citizens and companies can have in the Internet ecosystem. This not only generates direct losses but also a significant damage by reducing their will to conduct business online. If financial services are often targeted by such schemes they are far from being the only victims. That’s why partnering with the ABBL to raise the awareness of the public about this type of attacks and how to avoid them is of utmost importance for Security Made In Luxembourg.”
Pascal Steichen, CEO, Security Made In Luxembourg
