S.A.R le Grand-Duc héritier et le ministre de l’Économie, Franz Fayot, ont visité en date du 4 mai 2021 SECURITYMADEIN LU, l’Agence de cybersécurité au service de l’économie luxembourgeoise et des communes. L’équipe multidisciplinaire de l’agence est composée de 41 experts spécialisés dans la détection et le traitement d’incidents, la protection et la prévention, la mise à l’épreuve de solutions «cyber» ainsi que l’amélioration des compétences en matière de gestion du risque.

Après une présentation globale des activités de l’agence, S.A.R. le Grand-Duc héritier et le ministre de l’Économie ont assisté à des démonstrations dont une mise en situation dans la ROOM#42, un simulateur de crise «cyber» qui permet aux équipes qui participent à un tel exercice d’identifier les points à améliorer afin de consolider leur compétence collective dans la gestion de crise.
After a general presentation of the agency’s activities, HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Minister of the Economy attended demonstrations including a scenario in ROOM # 42, a “cyber” crisis simulator that allows teams participating in such an exercise to identify areas for improvement in order to consolidate their collective competence in crisis management.
Pilier d’attractivité économique pour le Luxembourg, «la cybersécurité est fondamentale à l’épanouissement d’une l’économie digitale de confiance» a rappelé le ministre de l’Économie, Franz Fayot, qui a félicité Pascal Steichen, CEO de SECURITYMADEIN.LU, et son équipe pour le travail réalisé d’une part dans les investigations et réponses sur incidents, d’autre part dans l’accompagnement des entreprises luxembourgeoises pour une meilleure prévention et gestion du risque cyber.
A pillar of economic attractiveness for Luxembourg, “cybersecurity is fundamental to the development of a trusted digital economy” recalled the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, who congratulated Pascal Steichen, CEO of SECURITYMADEIN. Avec la création d’une plateforme entièrement dédiée à l’écosystème CYBERSECURITY Luxembourg, SECURITYMADEIN.LU a revu la copie de son site internet afin d’offrir un portail d’informations et de conseils ainsi qu’un référentiel de solutions en matière de cybersécurité destinés à accompagner les entreprises et les communes vers l’adoption d’un comportement cyber-responsable.
With the creation of a platform entirely dedicated to the CYBERSECURITY Luxembourg ecosystem, SECURITYMADEIN.LU has revised the copy of its website in order to offer an information and advice portal as well as a repository of cybersecurity solutions intended to support companies and municipalities in adopting cyber-responsible behaviour.
Finalement, la visite du Grand-Duc héritier et du ministre de l’Économie a aussi marqué le lancement officiel de la plateforme CYBERSECURITY Luxembourg qui rassemble des informations sur plus de 300 acteurs des secteurs public et privé de l’écosystème de cybersécurité au Luxembourg. La plateforme permet de promouvoir l’expertise du pays en la matière et de faciliter des collaborations.
Finally, the visit of the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Minister of the Economy also marked the official launch of the CYBERSECURITY Luxembourg platform, which brings together information on more than 300 actors from the public and private sectors of the cybersecurity ecosystem in Luxembourg. The platform promotes the country’s expertise in this area and facilitates collaborations.
